JOB DETAIL

Position: Citrix  Admin

Location: Midland, TX /Remote

 

 

•             Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)

•             Highly disciplined approach to testing and documentation

•             Technical precision in process and as-built documentation

•             Great customer-facing communication – focus on follow through in a distraction-driven environment.

•             Thorough experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including iterative testing, GPOs, Citrix Policy, UPM, etc.

•             Advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation of Citrix Xen Desktop and XenApp 7.X, XenDesktop 7.X,

•             Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, design, and implementation in migration of applications from legacy Citrix farms to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.

•             Proven success in enterprise virtualization global architectures having multiple Active Directory Domains, XenApp Farms, XenDesktop Farms, PVS Farms, multiple zones, Citrix Policies

•             Candidate should have worked on large deployment of Virtual servers including cloning, template deployment.

•             Experience with Imprivata ProveID in Citrix environments helpful

•             Knowledge and work experience on P2V and V2V

•             Citrix related process debugging experiencing utilizing Citrix tools, Microsoft System Internals Tools, and PVS logging

•             Windows 2000/2003/2008/2012 Servers - commission, recovery, maintenance, troubleshooting of OS and hardware issues, user profiles, policies, decommission etc.

•             Excellent working knowledge of Windows, DNS, DHCP and WINS. Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies and Organizational Units

•             Resources must have previous experience with Vmware ESX/Xenserver

•             Advanced knowledge regarding local High-Availability relative to servers, power, networking, and remote management capabilities

•             Netscaler Gateway creation and maintenance

•             Netscaler Global Server Load Balancing, general load balancing

•             Netscaler policies, including Content Switching, Rewrite, Responder

•             Netscaler nFactor authentication

•             Netscaler troubleshooting, including extensive experience with Wireshark

•             ITIL Processes - Change, Incident and Problem management

•             Servers management using remote tools (ILO/DRAC/OpenManage)

•             Must have experience in creating and maintaining SOPs to run offshore operations

•             Experience in handling escalated issues including coordination of a global workforce to address needs quickly

•             CCA-V, CCA-N, CCP, CCE, or CSDP required
