Mandatory Qualification               Software Manager:

Oversees and coordinates the people, resources and processes required to deliver new software or to upgrade existing products.  May take a hands-on role in software development.

Expert: 84+ months

Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Qualification Number     Requested Qualifications:

1.            84 months of experience in managing multiple complex IT projects where regular interactions with Executive level stakeholders were required.

2.            84 months of experience in managing an IT project with a minimum of eight project team members.

3.            60 months of experience in developing and maintaining schedules in Microsoft Project.

4.            60 months of experience in managing projects using a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) based project management methodology containing well-defined and documented processes, templates, and guidelines for all project phases.

5.            48 months of experience directing the maintenance of multiple software implementation projects or in-house application development (SDLC) projects.

6.            36 months of experience in managing complex projects for New York State agencies.

7.            Bachelor’s degree
