Position: Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Remote
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Ruby on Rails Developer Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new web applications.
- Understand, Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
- Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
- Proposing solutions to streamline the development process where ever required
- Interacting with client, cross vendors and communicating, guiding offshore (RoR dev) team
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Connecting applications with additional web servers.
- Maintaining APIs, TDD.
Ruby on Rails Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Design & Development of Web Applications using Ruby on Rails
- Hands on experience with libraries like RSpec, RuboCop, FeatureSpec, Sidekiq
- Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github.
- Hands on experience with AWS, Docker, Capistrano.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies HTML5, Bootstrap, JQuery
- Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages like Slim, Haml and ReactJS
