Title – Sr.QA Engineer
Location – Pleasanton, CA
Must Have:
1. Minimum 1 programming language test development Experience (Java, Python, C# )
2. REST API/Selenium Experience
3. Experience testing with AWS services, Kafka or Kinesis
4. AI/ML (Nice to have
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives:
1. Interact with Product Managers, Architects and Engineers for requirements
2. Design and execute functional and nonfunctional tests for modules, components and services of Product.
3. Design and execute test cases for regression, performance and load tests
4. Design and execute scenarios for end-to-end testing.
5. Design and develop automated test framework and scripts for testing and deployment validations
6. Support Operations for deploying / installing the software in pre / production environments and provide post-deployment testing.
7. Participate in decision making of product readiness for production.
8. Work with your peers and development team to constantly improve testability of projects in your area of responsibility
9. Track and provide visibility on test coverage, test progress and defects.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
1. 10 years of experience as QA Engineer or equivalent
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in hands on test development in two or more programming languages or other applicable skills, such as JAVA, JavaScript, C#, Python, .NET etc.
3. In-depth experience with agile testing methodology and good understanding of Product and Engineering Processes.
4. Team player with strong communications skills, excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks
5. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills to address complex technical problems
6. Experience with REST API Testing and automation
7. Experience with automation on Web UI testing or Mobile web app testing experience using Selenium
8. Experience testing with AWS services, Kafka or Kinesis is preferred
9. Experience in Python is a big advantage.
10. Experience in testing of products with ML/AI components is an added advantage.
11. Understanding of US Mortgage processes and/or similar financial industry is an added advantage.
