Key Skills required-

· Expert in developing web applications from the back end to the front end on Salesforce B2C Commerce (formerly Salesforce Commerce Cloud/ Demandware)

·Proficient in managing the administration of Salesforce B2C Commerce

·Proficient in using and managing version control through Git – including planning & creating branches, and performing merges

·Proficient in merging JavaScript including relevant libraries

·Proficient in effectively documenting complex functionality in code and documentation.

·Ability to follow, enforce, and help define development standards

·Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts, MVC paradigm

·Expert level knowledge of cross-browser compatible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

·Applied knowledge of responsive, mobile first design

·Experienced with task runners like Grunt or Gulp

·Experienced with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries/frameworks

·Applied knowledge of front end and B2C commerce back end performance best practices

·Applied knowledge of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices

·Experienced with developing for B2C Commerce Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)

Salesforce B2C Senior Developer

The Salesforce B2C Senior Developer creates quality software that meets the functional and non-functional project requirements in the implementation, enhancement and support of ecommerce platform centric projects. This includes producing application code on-time, on budget and in compliance with general industry & platform-specific best practices.

B2C Senior Developers are helping to solve the most complex tasks on the project.   The Senior Developer is expected to know the Salesforce B2C Commerce ecommerce platform, and be an expert in the platform API, management tools, and capabilities.  The Senior Developer will use this knowledge to plan, write, and test code to meet the requirements of tasks assigned, work with the platform technologies and languages, HTML, CSS, and Javascript to customize the platform's prototype solutions to build fully functioning ecommerce sites on desktop, tablet and mobile devices, use object oriented techniques to create reusable, easy to maintain code which conforms to platform-specific & industry best practices and performs well under load.

Salesforce B2C Senior Developer should be comfortable working on the business logic, real-time and back office integrations, using platform technology and API to manipulate data, integrating with external services, creating jobs for processing data as well as developing in commerce cloud Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), isml templates and working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS on the front end.
