Title: Oracle DBA with AWS

Location: Richmond, VA / McLean, VA

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities & Skills:

·        Experience in Oracle DB admin with hosting Oracle in AWS (RDS & EC2)

·        Responsible for currently maintaining Oracle 12c including backup, performance tuning, capacity planning and documentation

·        Participate in the problem identification/resolution and root cause analysis process

·        Participate in disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), design, and execution

·        Good knowledge in golden gate replication

·        Experience applying Quarterly PSU Patching

·        Experience in export and import activities

·        Expert knowledge of backup and recovery practices

·        Works with development teams, propose Oracle database physical design

·        Knowledge on EC2, RDS, IAM services

·        Knowledge in rehydrating EC2 instance to latest AMI.

·        Knowledge on taking snapshot backups
