Job Description:
Performing hands-on development work as needed using various mainframe technologies:
 COBOL, JCL, CA7, TSO/ISPF, IMS DC, Easytrieve and use of IMS DB, VSAM as well as DB2 
databases. Knowledge in Assembler is preferred.Acting as a point of contact for technical 
issues.Ensuring that technical documentation and technical artifacts are accurately prepared,
 maintained and catalogued.Identifying opportunities to reuse strategic components and reduce 
over-customization.Identify, document and communicate technical risks, issues and alternative 
solutions discovered during project.Analyzes existing system and programming logic to provide 
more efficient machine operations or to identify difficulties, and revises the logic and procedures 
involved as necessary.
