Role: UX Designer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6+ Months

Description
Design user centric products and tools for Walmart's NLP stack
Leverage customer data to identify pain points and opportunities to improve experiences. Document consumable insights to influence change to our product experience and socialize with key stakeholders and executive audiences
Conduct customer research, develop and maintain rich knowledge of customer needs and product workflows to inform conversation design and development
Design and lead different types of testing (A/B, focus groups, usability testing, QA), synthesize results, and iterate based on results to ensure customer-centric and highly usable products
Build consistent brand, voice, and tone style guides for interactive voice assistants (IVA) to support Walmart’s NLP stack.
Design, author, and build new IVA conversations and experiences in Walmart’s NLP tools.
Ensure conversations leverage consistent brand and voice & tone to inspire customer confidence.
Maintain and update existing IVA conversations. Conduct user acceptance testing regularly to ensure conversations and platforms are performing as expected. Validate new feature integrations.
Capture and share best practices across all the stakeholders and different clients
Work in a cross-functional team to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/cognitive science or related field (minimum). Masters preferred/expected
- Experience in conversation design as well as user experience design
- Previous experience of designing multimodal (voice + visual) user experiences by wire-framing and including visual elements
- Demonstrated skills and abilities in an engineering environment in driving best practices and operational excellence.
