Job Description:
Plan, design, develop, enhance, maintain and support databases underlying IT-MCS applications portfolio. Support the Oracle versions 11x and 12x database development, reporting, transformation, migration, and performance tuning needs of application developers utilizing JAVA/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring MVC, JSPs, jQuery, Bootstrap, and IBM WebSphere. Responsible for performing advanced logical database development, performance monitoring and tuning, and providing database related support to the application development teams. Supports the database / applications enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
