Strong data analyst skills: particular the ability to understand target requirements and being able to take source data and translating/transforming that data to the target
Strong documentation skills (being able to produce and understand ETL source to target documentation)
Good testing skills: particular the ability to test the result of the ETL data transformations to the
Target and reconcile with the source if necessary. Additionally, troubleshoot as necessary when it doesn’t work.
