The Web Developer will develop and maintain an e-commerce solution and supporting applications using technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, Webforms, VB.NET, C#, MS SQL, Javascript and CSS, and other web development languages and technologies. The Web Developer will have strong design and implementation skills in web applications, database design and management, and rich media applications. The Web Developer will occasionally be directed in several aspects of the work, but should be able to handle medium level projects with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:

• Build new and enhance/maintain existing web applications as a full stack developer.

• Develop, test, and maintain information architecture and UI for web-based applications and website.

• Collaborate with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure UI usability and integrity.

• Assist in projects from idea to mock-up to launch, including designing prototypes & wireframes, conducting usability testing, and moving the final product into production.

• Regularly review code and actively collaborate with other developers on best practices.

• Apply knowledge of industry trends in Web design best practices, accessibility standards and developments to improve service to our clients.

• Draft both Functional and Technical Specifications documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Proficiency with C# is a must, with a familiarity of its coding environment (which is mainly Microsoft’s Visual Studio).

• Knowledge of the .NET framework and its newest features.

• Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.

• The ability to write a clean and readable code in C#.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time employment in a software developer role required

• NET developer. He/She must have good command on C# or VB.NET. For web technologies, he/she should have knowledge on The Official Microsoft ASP.NET Site, JavaScript, Angular JS, or other scripting languages, MVC, and for Windows desktop applications, he/she should have knowledge of WPF and MVVM techniques.

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time employment in a software developer role required o Recent experience / exposure in the following skills: *

• Familiarity with ASP.NET framework and SQL servers.

• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.

• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications

• Windows App Development (e.g. WPF, UWP, Win Forms).

• Microsoft Web App Development (e.g. ASP .NET MVC, ASP .NET MVC Core, .Net Core)

• Android App Development (Xamarin)

• Relational Databases (SQL)

• SOAP / Restful Web Services

• GIT Source Control

• Experience with Azure environment

• Power BI skills a plus

• Strong communication skills
