Looking for Retail QA Tester with Loyalty Apps Exp

Location: Columbus OH

Duration: 6+ months

IT Test Analyst - IT Applications

This position supports all testing activities for the Loyalty Program on bathandbodyworks.com. The Analyst along with the Test Lead support all Integration/end to end testing, and user acceptance testing for website releases. This role is primarily responsible for the creation and execution of test cases to be run during integration/end to end testing and test case creation for cross functional teams participating in testing during User Acceptance Test Phases. The responsibilities include internal project related testing to ensure all projects are delivered according to spec.

In addition to creating/executing test cases the analyst will be responsible for gathering and logging of defects, ensuring completeness of information for delivery to the technical teams for remediation, as well as facilitate triage and prioritization of defects for retesting.  He/she will also be responsible for setting up test data/processing test orders in the lower environments for the QA timeline, and for other cross functional team needs during the testing timeline.

The testing team uses tools such as Jira & Confluence to track defects and statuses.  All test cases are written and stored in TestRail. In addition, familiarity with e-commerce and website testing, Loyalty programs, Order Management Systems, Tax and web related promotions is highly recommended.

Experienced with Loyalty Programs and Ecommerce Platforms

Experienced test lead with track record of managing, executing tests for complex projects involving loyalty programs from the mobile app, point of sale, and website perspective

Experience with Functional User Acceptance Testing and End to End testing on IT projects, involving multiple threads of work, concurrently.

Experienced in third-party applications including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or other test management tools (e.g. ALM, Quality Center, TFS, VSTS)

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.

Expert in defect creation and defect management.

Expert in Microsoft Excel including Formulas, Macros, & Pivot Tables

Experience partnering with multiple internal and external partners.

Experience in functional testing process, including test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management.

Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences.

Consistently delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Retail / eCommerce / Web technology experience is preferred, specifically in a Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment.

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.

2+ years’ experience in QA/UX/UAT/Functional Testing
