Title: QA Automation Tester with Claims, P&C, TFS

Location: Naperville, IL  ( Remote)

Need to have come from a property and claims insurance background ideally to shorten learning curve of Sedgwick's claims system.

Must also have worked with complex applications in the insurance claims space that involve testing across multiple platforms

Job Description:

Vericlaim's time and billing system needs a fresher look. It is written in C# and the code that is needed to be developed needs a tester to be able to write scripts within Visual Studio. This person needs to have written and developed automated scripts within Visual studio for .Net applications. The tester will help ensure the code is error and bug-free so that customer data is uncorrupted. Additionally, this person may be asked to support other related applications that interact with Vericlaim's time and billing application.

Additional Information:

echnical assessments of great importance to this customer. This person ideally will have some development experience using .NET in a QA setting

Work Environment:

team of 2 developers, though this work will mostly be done independently

Who is the Internal/External Customer.

The internal customers are the employees of York and Cunningham and the external customers are their individuals claim members

Impact to the Internal/External Customer:

Increased claims capacity leads to greater overall revenues for sedgwick

Business Challenge:

Sedgwick's claims platform is expanding with the acquisition of York and Cunningham insurance and the QA tester needs to validate claims information is being integrated properly to ensure accuracy

EVP:

Located close to 88, this project allows for a tester to utilize the automated framework within Visual Studio...they also will get a chance to teach Vericlaim how to properly maintain the application going forward
