Title: Linux & UNIX Admin

Location: Katy TX  (Day 1 onsite)

Duration: Long term contract

AIX to RHEL migration:

Candidate should be open for flexibility & rotation

o    Install /Configure and troubleshoot the Linux Systems  (6.10/7.X and 8.X version)

o    File system related troubleshooting (EXT* and XFS file systems)

o    Debugging complicated server crashes/core files/performance issues

o    Perform System OS patching and troubleshooting during the OS patch.

o    Good troubleshooting knowledge about the Redhat Satellite 6 version and patch management.

o    Good Knowledge in VMWare VM troubleshooting

o    Maintain System Security vulnerability.

o    Resolving problems with LDAP and SSSD server authentication.

o    Knowledge about the Linux OS In-Place upgrade

o    Migration Knowledge in AIX to Linux

o    Building specification for server configuration based on application requirements

o    Installation, configuration and administration of RHEL and Suse Linux  servers

o    Creating and managing a new File system and troubleshooting (LVM)

o    Excellent technical skills on AIX6.1,AIX 7.1 & AIX7.2

o    Strong skill on Power hardware Management ,HMC & COD licensing analysis

o    Experience on OS patch and upgrades & new LPAR from scratch

o    User and file system administration

o    Knowledge on IBM, NETAPP, Pure SAN/NAS storages

o    Good understanding of Networking concepts as well as physical hardware

o    Scripting knowledge (Shell/perl/Ansible)

o    Knowledge on Puppet

o    Knowledge on Redhat Cluster/Pacemaker Cluster
