AIX to RHEL migration:
Job Description:
- Install /Configure and troubleshoot the Linux Systems (6.10/7.X and 8.X version)
- File system related troubleshooting (EXT* and XFS file systems)
- Debugging complicated server crashes/core files/performance issues
- Perform System OS patching and troubleshooting during the OS patch.
- Good troubleshooting knowledge about the Redhat Satellite 6 version and patch management.
- Good Knowledge in VMWare VM troubleshooting
- Maintain System Security vulnerability.
- Resolving problems with LDAP and SSSD server authentication.
- Knowledge about the Linux OS In-Place upgrade
- Migration Knowledge in AIX to Linux
- Building specification for server configuration based on application requirements
- Installation, configuration and administration of RHEL and Suse Linux servers
- Creating and managing a new File system and troubleshooting (LVM)
- Excellent technical skills on AIX6.1,AIX 7.1 & AIX7.2
- Strong skill on Power hardware Management ,HMC & COD licensing analysis
- Experience on OS patch and upgrades & new LPAR from scratch
- User and file system administration
- Knowledge on IBM, NETAPP, Pure SAN/NAS storages
- Good understanding of Networking concepts as well as physical hardware
- Scripting knowledge (Shell/perl/Ansible)
- Knowledge on Puppet
