Position: PostgreSQL DBA

Location: Maryland (Remote working till Covid)

Interview Type: Phone & Skype 

Visa Type: Only GC, US Citizen, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, TN-Visa, H1B and No OPT

Duration: Long Term Contract (12+ Months)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

This is a government contract they just signed for a 10 year contract. It will be remote to at least June of next year and then they may need to me on-site in Maryland.

·       Need Senior (8+ years) PostgreSQL DBA with AWS and DevOps experience.

·       PostgreSQL DBA’s with AWS MUST

Key Required Skills:
Senior PostgreSQL DBAs capable of designing and implementing a community edition PostgreSQL platform at enterprise level.

Required Skills

·         5 years of below technologies: Expertise in implementing Ansible automation, Experience in Python, Experience in agile and DevOps methodologies implementation

·         Considered a leader in the field

Desired Skills

·         Ansible scripting

·         Experience with cloud environment, AWS

·         Liquibase Database Change management tool.

·         Database Administration (DBA) skills

Experience Level

·         Database (PostgreSQL v9.6 and above) - 7 years

·         AWS RDS 2 years

·         Ansible 3 years

·         Shell Scripting 10 years

·         Python 7 years

·         AWS (EC2 & S3) 4 year

·         Git and Atlassian suites (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket) 5 years.
