Role:  PostgreSQL DBA

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027

Duration: 12 Months

Job Details:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle databases, preferred in High Availability Environments
- Good Tuning-, Trace- and Performance-Know How for databases 11g
- Profound knowledge within Oracle HA-Environment, especially RAC and DataGuard
- Experience with large databases and complex process models
- Experience with Warehouse-Features of Oracle databases
- Good experience in SQL/PL-SQL
- Good Unix-Know How to fulfill operations of databases, preferred Linux
- Development-Know How on Unix environments (Perl, Shell, awk, sed) would be an advantage
- Autonomous and self-dependent working in a team
- Distinct Service- and Customer focus
- Administration and Monitoring with Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Exadata-Know How would be an advantage

Area of responsibilities:
- Oracle Database Monitoring and Performance-Tuning
- Based on the occupational aptitude having sole responsibility on concept-creation and implementation for complex analytical projects
- Tuning complex SQL-Queries in OLTP and OLAP environments
- Database-Object-Reorganization (Online/Offline)
- Defining and implementation of databases in HA-environments
- Supporting the productive business in all upcoming Oracle-questions
- Developing Backup/Recovery-Strategies for given Service-Level-Agreements from the customer
- Check and implementation of new Oracle features in database environments
- Working in projects to implement new features and releases for the application
