Role Description:
Looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager with delivery experience in pharmaceutical domain. This consultant will work under the ITPMO. 
•    Manage full lifecycle projects to implement and upgrade enterprise IT applications. These applications can be home grown, packaged software or SaaS (Software as a service).
•    Be the primary point of coordination between the business PMO and the various technology work streams.
•    Provide resource and budget plans to complete the project on time and within budget
•    Manage schedule, risks and issues using standard Gilead project management tools.
•    Provide regular reporting at appropriate intervals to multiple levels in the Gilead organization.
•    Prior experience in implementations and upgrades of large-scale enterprise applications is a must.
•    Need very strong communication skills; frequent business interface will be required.
•    Prior experience working within GxP frameworks is a big plus.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
•    At Least 8 years of experience in project management. A Bachelor's degree with a life science, business, or technical background is desirable. PMP certification preferred, but prior success on the job is most critical.
•    Strong experience in managing packaged and SaaS applications implementations and upgrades from start to finish.
•    Strong Project financial management experience is a must.
•    Possesses seasoned expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques. 
•    Possesses in-depth understanding of the SDLC and various methodologies from waterfall to Agile, and how to apply it to relevant projects. 
•    Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of IT functions and services. 
•    Is flexible, calm under pressure, highly communicative, and comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous situations. 
•    Has track record of successful integration across multiple and complex technologies and systems. 
•    Possesses strong communication skills and is savvy working with both technology and business partners across the organization in a collaborative way.
