Position: Scala Developer (Apache Flink)

Location: 100% Remote (With some travel when required by the client)

Job Description-

Develop and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines & optimize new and existing data workflows to provide valuable insight to internal teams within clients provided environments.

·         Data Pipelines will be programmed using Scala and any other programming languages.

·         Modify existing data workflows as per required.

·         Implement security requirements as outlined by client for all data inflight and at rest.

·         Provide Data Engineering-related Advisory support to client in order to enable the long-term success of the Data Engineering teams.

·         Data Engineering-related Advisory support includes communication of best practices for data engineering architecture, security, and solutions.

Requirements:

·         7+ years Data Engineer

·         Scala and Flink are a must have

·         AWS is a plus
