Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you'll work on everything from customer facing web applications using cutting-edge open-source frameworks, to highly available RESTful web services to back-end Java based systems using the latest design patterns.  

You will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You will team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. As an engineer on our group, you will be working with our Agile teams building applications leveraging 

  • An architecture in the style of “Event Sourcing” 
  • Microservices to provide dedicated business functions 
  • Kafka & Protobuf serialization to asynchronously connect services 
  • Oracle, Gemfire used for creating persistent view services 
  • Kafka to enable rapid short term recovery, horizontal scalability and workload distribution 
  • Front-end UIs using React 

List of Technical Skills

  • Experience Java including new Java 8 features, Java Micro Services, RESTful services
  • Experience in Runtimes/App Servers: Spring Boot, Docker, Tomcat
  • Experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
  • Experience in Databases: Oracle, SQL
  • Experience in Messaging: Kafka
  • Experience in CI/CD: JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins
