Job Role: Azure DevOps Engineer with Networking
Location: Houston, TX (Remote until covid clear)
Duration: Long term contract
Job Description:
- Azure DevOps Engineer with Networking Skills
- 360 degrees understanding of ALL existing Azure services (IaaS & PaaS) and passion to keep up with new announcements, service enhancements.
- Barracuda firewall experience is preferred, candidates with expertise in other network firewall products will be considered.
- Candidate must have strong experience working in Azure Platform Operations environment and must be willing to work in shifts (UK, US).
- Hands-on experience with at least five of the key compute, network, storage, security services and their components – VM (Windows & Linux), VNet, Configuring NSGs and Route tables, App Gateway, Express Route, Scale sets, Azure Databricks, AKS, ASE, ANF, WAF, RBAC model, log analytics, CRP, AFD etc.
- Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow is preferred.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills and should be able to articulate thoughts, ideas, solutions very clearly.
- Candidate must be proactive, flexible & quick learner; able to work independently with limited oversight and guidance.
- Strong troubleshooting experience in distributed environments, Azure.
- Candidate must have a good understanding of Agile principles, Scrum and or Kanban methodology; hands-on experience in these areas is a big plus.
- At least one of AZ103, AZ200, AZ300, AZ400 certifications is a plus.
