Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who will work closely with our client in our DevOps Practice team and cooperate closely with development and IT infrastructure. You will be involved in building new tech platforms for our client, working in GCP environment.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting cloud-native solutions, mostly in GCP environment (it's great if you are an Azure or AWS expert as well)
- Setting up and running container infrastructure
- Gathering requirements from the business and development teams to provide best fit solution for running and monitoring containerized applications
- Supporting platform and infrastructure team
- Automating build and release pipelines
- Creating design and user documentations as needed
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of GCP offerings
- Strong on CI/CD fundamentals
- Strong OS knowledge - Linux environment preferable
- Experience working with Vagrant and / or Terraform is a big plus
- Scripting languages (PS, Bash) and preferably at least basic Python
- Containerization - Kubernetes and Docker, preferably in microservices environment
- Innovative and proactive stance - we value Innovation and Teamwork above all else
Nice to have:
- Exposure to service mesh concepts
- DevSecOps practice or fundamentals
