Seniorlevel knowledge of Elasticsearch stack

3-5years ideally, but a lot will depend on the quality of the projects, tasks and activitiesthey worked on within the ES stack, if it is just cursory versus deep. We arelooking for someone who knows the ES stack well and can jump in and produceright away. This is not junior level work.

Characteristicsof the Elasticsearch application building the data engineer will need to managewell:

o           Corpus size (17T of medical notes)

o           Complex queries (more than just keywordsearches), also need to “join” on other tables

o           Privacy protection, in particular ensuringno protected information is displayed to user

o           Refreshes on a regular cadence

o           Adjusting to users and business requirementsand feedback

Hereare some characteristics of the environment

Mainstack is ELK stack, PySpark on on-prem Hadoop cluster, but migrating to AWS

Preferconcrete experience in building data pipelines, managing big data, AWSexperience a plus
