Currently, Meijer is looking for an IT Azure Developer. The individual selected for this position will design, document, maintain and develop RESTful API’s.
This candidate will have frequent interactions with customers, exercise interpersonal communication and problem solving, and have a high degree of patience to provide solutions.
This team will be implementing API's for online grocery, home delivery, and pickup capabilities through Meijer.com and the Meijer Mobile App. The Azure Developer designs, codes, and implements systems and integrations as a member of an Agile development team. The development is focused on building a solution that is service oriented and multi-channel.

Required Technical Skills
.NET Framework 3.5+ (4.0 + Preferred)
.NET Core
C#
WebAPI 2+
MS SQL Server 2008: strong skills in stored procedures and queries
Experience with a variety of design patterns
Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Function Apps, CosmosDB, Storage Account)
Queue – Pub, Sub messaging
Development of RESTful API’s
Experience with Swagger
Experience writing unit test cases
Testing tools for REST API’s like Postman
Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
