Position: Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM Analyst)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: Long Term Contract/2+ Years

Job Description :

Client is seeking an Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) analyst with experience in cybersecurity, business process analysis, requirement gathering, and risk management. The analyst will work with clients to formulate and evaluate technical solutions, to-be business processes, and program governance for external facing digital services. We are seeking professionals capable of leading client interactions, advising business leaders on program improvements, and working within a team of analysts to implement long-term program goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with diverse stakeholders to elicit goals and requirements and translate into high-quality deliverables including analysis of alternatives, use cases, user journeys, business context diagram, process flows, and timelines.
  • Manage parallel initiatives and provide project insights through use of roadmaps, business cases, schedules, metrics, work breakdown structure, WBS dictionary or user stories, and risk tracking.
  • Provide client briefings on technology, market trends, and recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally across client business units, program and product management, and Agile teams.
  • Lead, facilitate, and document client-facing and internal team meetings to produce meaningful results, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
  • Perform risk management activities, to include providing mitigation strategies.
  • Build executive-level presentations and status reports.
  • Support long term planning, vendor engagement working sessions, and facilitate workshops when required.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to perform stakeholder analysis for complex programs with large audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on ICAM
  • Demonstrated understanding of business process analysis, requirement gathering, requirement specification and use case/user story development.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical issues at a high-level and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership, working both internally to drive delivery on roadmap goals, and externally to evaluate and drive partnerships that advance program strategy.
  • Ability to work independently, especially at project startup defining goals and metrics, and working with diverse stakeholders to enhance program value
  • Experience working with Agile methods and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience developing papers and presentations and presenting these to internal and external clients.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferred concentration in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Computer Science.
  • 1 year of experience or familiarity with US Government ICAM policies and guidance, specifically knowledge of NIST SP 800-63-3.
  • 3-5 years of experience working directly with federal or business clients advising on program, process, and IT improvements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Experience in DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS).
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM degree area. 
  • Strong understanding of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) concepts, standards, and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and identify and recommend appropriate solutions based on technologies and strategies.
  • Must be able to present and interact effectively with a team of decision makers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or similar, PowerPoint, Agile Tools (VersionOne, JIRA).
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Linux & Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
  • Knowledge of Network Management and Security Monitoring tools, such as Splunk, HBSS, ACAS.
