Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Client is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our QA center of excellence. A Client testing candidate must possess an inherent curiosity, critical thinking skills, and must genuinely enjoy ‘breaking things’. This candidate serves as an information broker for our client’s QA team, can present findings in team meetings featuring IT and business stakeholders, and will use excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to facilitate team success and build fantastic software applications. Outstanding problem solving, oral, and written communication skills required.
 
 
Requirements:
 
•    Strong leadership qualities and presentation skills.
•    Strong experience as an automated tester / SDET at companies developing applications at enterprise-scale.
•    Demonstrable experience developing test estimations, test plans, and developing automated test scripts from scratch.
•    5 years’ experience in object-oriented development experience with C#
•    SQL Server experience (3+ years)
•    3+ years’ experience with unit testing practices
•    Demonstrable object-oriented development skills. 
•    End-to-end application testing experience. 
•    Experience utilizing at least 1 automated testing tool such as LeanFT, Selenium, or UFT.
•    Demonstrable test-driven development experience in an agile environment.
•    Experience contributing to backlog or story grooming sessions.
•    Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to better define requirements.
•    Outstanding attention to detail and problem solving skills.
•    Bachelors or MS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable academic discipline.
