Sr. Database Engineer/Developer needed to transition current IAM from Tivoli using SQL DB to Sailpoint using Oracle DB.
Six-month assignment.
Telecommuting is allowed but local candidates are highly preferred as there will be on-site work with short notice.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Sr. Database Engineer will help map the current Microsoft SQL metadata design and then develop the new Oracle Database design and transition plan.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Redesigning current SQL database tables, designing a new Oracle Database environment, and moving the data from SQL to Oracle. The current KSU IAM system contains large amounts student data that is implemented in an MS SQL server. This position will be responsible for designing and creating the new Oracle Database Environment for the new IAM, Sailpoint. This position will be responsible for redesigning those database tables in SQL and then extracting, transforming, and loading those feeds to the newly designed Oracle server environment. This will require the chosen candidate to dig through existing (undocumented) tables and existing SQL scripts (also undocumented) and begin to understand the data and build a clean (and documented) implementation over in the new oracle environment.
