Job Title : Power BI Developer

Job Description:

WAHBE requires a qualified and experienced Vendor Resource that valued contributor to successful Business Intelligent solution. Using Power BI access the newly created Data Warehouse build reports/dashboards. This resource will work with new Azure technologies and platforms. Resource will perform all development activities within the defined parameters adhering DW Architecture guidelines.

Purpose and Goals:

This resource will be a member of the Data & Reporting team, leading the development of Power BI dashboards, reports, and Power BI models.

Project Team and Environment:

•         This resource will work closely with members of the Data & Reporting team and other teams within IT. Additionally, this resource will work closely with Microsoft (external vendor).

•         The Data & Reporting team is a highly collaborative, caring, and supportive team.

•         This Resource, along with the rest of WAHBE, will be working remote as the office is closed due to Covid-19. Once staff returns the office, the duties for this position will be performed on-site full-time (40 hours per week).

Project-Specific Qualifications and Experience:

Accomplish this project, WAHBE seeks an experienced (i.e., senior level or above), Power BI Resource with the following experience and qualifications:

•         Expert in Power BI development

•         Experience with DAX – e.g., able to write ‘calculate’ functions

•         3+ years of experience building Power BI reports including data import, transformation, and mapping

•         3+ years of experience in working with SSAS tabular/multi-dimensional cubes

•         Strong client-facing written and oral communications skills

•         Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure AAS)

•         Experience in Data Warehousing, data modeling

•         Advanced analytics, SQL, and data visualization ITPS Work Request – Data Warehouse

•         Experience with data platforms such as Oracle, SQL

•         Experience with one or more data and reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI

•         Hands-on with demonstrated sense of urgency

•         The ability to plan work and meet deadlines

•         Accuracy and attention to detail

•         Able to communicate with clarity and precision

•         Displays positive, constructive, and helpful demeanor to assist/mentor team members
