Position: Sr Data Scientist
Location: 1003 US-202, Raritan, NJ 08869 (will start remote but must be open to work onsite once it is safe to do so)
Duration: 6+ months with potential extension
Visa Type: preference for GC/USC but will look at solid OPTs/EADs
Start Date: Mid-January
Interview mode: phone screen with Liz, video interview with Liz & Birlasoft Program manager, 2 more video interviews with Birlasoft and Johnson & Johnson
Must have experience and be able to speak about:

- Must have previous experience in Pharma Industry
- Experience in NLP with minimum 2-3 implementations
- Strong in Python and R
- Used Python for data management, data prep, and data sciences
- Aspects like model training, model tuning, and hypothesis of model selection
- Understanding business requirements and converting them into technical automation requirements
Job Overview:
- Engage customers in learning and helping to Optimize the current Data Monetization processes using various AI techniques like NLP, Neural Net, Deep learning to improve UX of the customer journeys and detect signals and risks, events and/or optimize a cost of interactions with customers to Build, deploy, maintain the end-to-end solutions that reduce complexity and cost, by using the knowledge base of the team
- Will be supporting a number of Pharma-related project implementation initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Min 6-8 (10 ideal) years of experience as a Data Scientist in an enterprise environment
- Must have worked in Pharma industry at least with 2 -3 project implementations
- Data Sciences and Machine Learning – Minimum 5 -6yrs of experience in developing Client models like Supervised and Un Supervised learning with Neural Net, Deep Learning algorithms
- Language – Natural Language Processing, machine translation, language detection, classification with different aspects of dealing NLP like Phonology, Morphology
- Experience building complex classification and other prediction models using machine learning
- Linguistic Analysis – Different techniques of Syntax recognition, Semantics, Pragmatics with different approaches of Semantic analysis like Distributional, Frame-based, Interactive learning, etc.
- Technical – deep aptitude and proficiency in programming and design techniques Python and any distribution like Tensor Flow and knowledge into Java, Web/DB development, Big Data, complex event processing, design patterns. Understanding of technical architectures and the current state of the market in several technology areas.
- Thought Leader who can conceptualize big vision and define a plan for Machine Learning, metrics, and deliverables.
- Communications – strong written and oral communications skills; ability to establish credibility, initiation, and incubation of new ideas and concepts, Desire to create practical new business applications based on innovative technologies, Leadership / Management –experience in teamwork and possibly in managing a small team
