Job Description:

The Teradata Database Administrator would need to have at least 3+ years of relevant experience and have proficient knowledge of physical database design, capacity planning, security planning, backup and recovery systems, operating systems, data modeling, query language, performance, and software development concepts and production support related tools and technology.

Required Experience:

- 4+ years working as a Teradata DBA professionally is must.
- Experience working in a production environment with minimal to no downtime allowed.
- Performance monitoring experience utilizing ViewPoint is required.
- Experience handling atleast one cluster with few petabytes of data is required.
- Experience in handling year end maintenance activities right from plan till execution.
