Job Role: Cloud Architect
Location: Sylmar, CA (Remote until covid clear)
Duration: Long term contract
Must have: Service Mesh, Azure Services, Azure Cloud, J2EE, Microservices Architecture, Various Design Pattern and Framework
Job Description:
- 5 to 18 years of experience with Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT
- Minimum 3 plus experience in designing and supporting IT cloud solutions in Azure
- Create a well formed cloud Strategy and manage the adaption process
- Develop and organize cloud system
- Should have experience in architecting and solutioning for public/private & Hybrid cloud.
- Should possess business level understanding of enterprise systems to drive innovations and transformations
- Ability to provide holistic and right scale cloud solutions that addresses Scalability, availability, Service continuity, performance and security requirements
- Having prepared and deployed infrastructure as code using cloud formation/ARM
- Design understanding and experience in RDBMS, NoSQL , RDS, PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB.
- Understanding of DevOps Principles and working Knowledge on CI/CD tools (BitBucket/Jenkins/Maven etc)
- Should have good knowledge of Network/Security design and architecture of Azure Cloud landscape.
- Scripting and Automation skills Python, JSON, YAML etc.
- Work closely with IT Security
- Respond to technical issues in a timely manner
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers to cloud
- Identify and offer solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the organization
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to deliver quality design and work
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
- Effective communication skills (Written and Verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud environment
