Skillsets – Data Analytics
Desire good AWS experience in general, and especially with Redshift, S3, SNS, SQS, Aurora db’s, Kinesis, Lambda, Cloudformation. Experience with Spark/Databricks, Kubernetes, Airflow, DBT, and similar tools very helpful. Depending on the work needed, very strong expertise in SQL may be required.

Responsibilities
- Designs and establishes secure and performant data architectures, enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of data pipelines, repositories or models for structured/unstructured data.
- Analyses design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
- Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of data system or component; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into data system architecture.
Knowledge & Skills
- Using data engineering tools, languages, frameworks to mine, cleanse and explore data.
- Fluent in NoSQL & relational based systems.
- Fluent in complex, distributed and massively parallel systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to represent complex algorithms in software.
- Designing data systems/solutions to manage complex data.
- Strong understanding of database technologies and management systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based systems/services.
- Database architecture testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Responsibilities
- Defines and creates extensive plans, data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.
- Identifies new opportunities, technologies, and partner collaborations to bring value to the business and data science domain.
- Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, development partners, and industry standards groups.
- Drives innovation and integration of new data science related technologies and practices into projects and activities in the Business
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Knowledge & Skills
- Extensive development of scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- History of application and implementation of experimental design, scientific procedures and processes, and data analysis.
