Job title: Data Engineer (With Pyspark , Spark, Scala, Python)

Roles/Responsibilities (5 – 8 day to day candidate’s responsibilities)
o Participate in design reviews, code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.
This is a handson developer role in PySpark – Python and Spark skills both are mandatory. Well versed in scripting and testing.
Required Qualifications (5 – 8 bullet points on must have skills)
• Must have qualifications –
o Bachelor Degree and 5-7 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.
o Hands on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions in GCP environment.
o Experience with strong UNIX shell scripting, IntelliJ, Bigquery, Composer(Airflow)
o Hands-on experience with Spark and python – design & development
o Good knowledge in Spark Best Practices, Troubleshooting and Performance tuning. Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions, design patterns, and code for medium/complex applications deployed in Dataproc.
o Experience with change management / DevOps tools (GitHub / Jenkins etc.).
o Familiarity to SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
