Role: PHP Developer with Drupal Experience

Remote – Client location will update soon – should be Virginia

JOB DUTIES: The CSG Group Engineering team is looking for a Mid-level PHP Developer with 5 to 7 years of Drupal Experience who can develop responsive web applications, build REST APIs and have experience in front-end technologies not limited to HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, SASS and CSS.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in developing Web applications using Drupal Custom modules, utilizing Core Drupal features and building headless API services. And have the capacity to take a design and transform it into a functional issue like implementing responsive design.

• Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP/AWS environment.

• Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions in all perspectives that includes design and data schema.

• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality.

• Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules.

• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS.

• Ensuring high-performance and availability.

• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.

MUST HAVE SKILLS: Very strong experience with PHP and Drupal 7 or 8.

Ability to write Drupal custom modules and good knowledge with Drupal hooks.

Knowledge of Drupal APIs like Entity, Queue, Cache API, etc.

Familiar with Composer and Drush commands. Well-versed with the optimization of Drupal.

Knowledge on front-end development like HTML, CSS, jQuery and Javascripts.

Ability to write custom themes which should be responsive in all modern devices.

Experienced in Version control for maintaining code repository and deployment activities.

GOOD to HAVE:

Knowledge of some JS Frameworks like AngularJS. Integrating Front-end with SASS. Involved in the advanced side of theme layers and automated tests. Familiar with google tag manager or Adobe analytics.
