Cloud Architect with Azure

Long Term Contract
The Cloud Architect should have good exposure to the IT Infrastructure ecosystem in a large enterprise. He should have good breadth of all cloud platforms and in-depth technology expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud environment. He should demonstrate and deliver the architecture, design and implementation Microsoft Azure solution components in a Hybrid Cloud computing environment. The Cloud Architect should be able to define infrastructure / workload migration strategies between a traditional on premise and Public Cloud
Job Responsibilities
§ Provide Technical and Architecture oversight for all projects focused on Azure cloud and guide the Infrastructure Engineering designers
§ Focus on Cloud competency development and grooming designers.
§ Conduct workshops by engaging the Architects community and lead pilot / POC work for identified areas
§ Collaborate with Customer Cloud/Technology teams to implement and drive the hybrid cloud initiatives / projects
§ Develop a migration approach to move workloads from On-Premises to Azure or develop new cloud-ready application solutions
§ Understand / Assimilate TCS Capabilities, tools and accelerators in the cloud space and identify / work on opportunities where the same can be leveraged and integrated in customer environment
Skills
Has the knowledge and experience in the following skills
§ Windows Azure – Compute, Storage
§ SQL Azure (Tables, Blobs, Queues)
§ Access Services
§ AppFabric (Service Bus, Access Control, Caching, Integration and Composite app)
§ Content Delivery Network
§ Virtual Network
§ Windows appliance toolkit for Private cloud configuration
§ Azure Portal Management
-Understand the Cloud designs and caries ability to redevelop the solutions for cloud.
-Carries ability to develop the reusable solution accelerators for the cloud.
-Integrating Service management tools preferably ServiceNow with Azure stack
-Architecting solutions for Windows Azure for Private, Hybrid and Public cloud models
-Has deeper understanding of various cloud consumption models (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS) and knowledge of -infrastructure frameworks such as ITIL
-Deeper understand Azure cloud workload sizing consideration
-Good Communication and Team Leadership skills to connect and collaborate with TCS’ and Customer’s Cloud community.
Experience
10-12 years of total Infrastructure experience operating as a Cloud Architect for a large transformation engagement involving Azure hybrid cloud adoption. Should have at least 3+ years’ experience in cloud computing environment. Certification in Azure Cloud is must.
