8+ years of industry experience: proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer or similar role;
Ability to be hands-on to develop prototypes of working code;
5+ hands-on experience with No-SQL (e.g. MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Couchbase) design and principles;
5+ hands-on experience with SQL (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora) design and principles;
5+ experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, documenting, or supporting REST API;
Solid (ideally certified) knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and experience with one or more of the following AWS products: S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift;
Experience with healthcare standards (such as HL7's Version 2.x messaging standard, and FHIR) and the processing of healthcare data at scale;
Hands-on experience with operationalizing Big Data applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning);
Hands-on experience with Java (e.g. Spring Boot) and familiarity with reactive programming;
Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs;
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or for a top software consultancy
