Job Title   GIS ETL Developer

Relevant Experience(in Yrs) 8+ years

Technical/Functional Skills

  • 8+ years of experience on Safe FME workbench, FME Server, Oracle spatial and ESRI product suite
  • Safe FME desktop/ Server, ArcSDE, Oracle Spatial and .NET
  • Experience on Oracle Spatial, FGDB.
  • Experience on writing ArcGIS python script for automation scripts.
  • Having hands-on experience in SQL/PLSQL

Roles & Responsibilities

The Client is looking for GIS ETL Developer to join the AEGIS team.

The GIS Developer will contribute to all the ETL development work.

 

We are looking for candidates with strong manual and automated GIS ETL development experience with emphasis on end-to-end GIS solutions.

Candidate must be able to work independently, possess effective time management skills and can thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Generic Managerial Skills

  • o Expertise in sql / plsql
  • o Proficient in Data Analysis and SQL scripting
  • o Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • o Knowledge in SpatialNet Product or GIS support.
  • o Work directly with client to ensure applications developed for client are reporting data accurately and in a valuable format.
  • o Work in an Agile/Scrum environment , Jira Ticketing
  • o Validate reporting requirements, outputs, and fixes per release builds
  • o Identify issues or areas of improvement
  • o Interface with client and development team to help solve issues and recommend changes for client.
  • o Document reporting definitions
  • o Open and monitor tickets to address defects
  • o Telecom Domain Knowledge (Understanding Cable Architecture and Data Flow)
