Job Description for HL7 Interface Integration
HEALTHCARE IS A MUST HAVE. Strong EAI Background, Healthcare/HL7 skills, middleware integration as well as application level integration development
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains interfaces.
- Participates in on-call rotations.
- Participate and lead integration projects by analyzing vendor specs, developing interfaces, and troubleshoot any issues
- Performs source code/versioning management function adhering to technical management guidelines.
- Develop HL7 Real Time and MFT interfaces in alignment to the business and technical requirements.
- Collaborates with application and project team(s) to define design and unit testing scenarios and scripts in alignment with business and system requirements.
- Contribute to and maintain a thorough understanding of application and integration standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures integration development deliverables are completed on a time, budget, and quality.
- Researches and recommends appropriate integration development best practices, and tools.
Must haves:
- HL7 Interface Integration
- Strong preference to experience in application level integration. Allscripts EHR and/or GE Centricity Business strongly preferred.
- HL7 experience required.
- Basic working knowledge of Java, SQL scripting databases.
- Experience with IBM tools (message broker, MQ).
- Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies desired.
Desired skills and experience:
- Test management, test processes, automated and performance testing using tools such as HP ALM
- Source code management and application build and deployment tools (CVS, Bitbucket, Sharepoint)
- API management experience
