Product Manager /Product Owner – Job Description
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Work on a range of digital initiatives related to our digital transformation strategy.
- The sequential planning and rebuilding of our web properties via close partnerships with IT and UX teams.
- Enable the product feature backlog readiness in VersionOne, preparing requirements for capacity-based planning, prioritization, grooming and implementation.
- Collaborate with enterprise partners to define and prioritize work within IT and UX Design.
- Manage several priorities concurrently. Define software requirements and acceptance criteria at the feature level; support impactful story-level scope elaboration with the consultation of engineers to prepare stories for development and testing.
- Engage in user research to understand UX problems and define solutions/requirements to solve them.
- Perform functional testing of completed development against defined acceptance criteria, and support pre-release validation and regression activities.
- Work with partners to analyze data, including Adobe analytics and Optimizely A/B testing results.
- Bring team-centered solutions to delivery process and routines through continuous improvement actions; Build consensus with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Own solutions by communicating recommendations with supporting rationale and being accountable to timelines, organizational capacity and project needs.
Qualifications
- Experienced Product Owner or Product Manager (5-7 years’ experience) in an Agile environment with both technical knowledge and business acumen, preferably in Financial Services industry, but not required.
- Must have ability to interpret business needs, objectives into an agile backlog.
- Proven success in a mature agile operating model, with cross-functional teams designing and building applications, CMS integrations (preferably Contentful, or similar headless solution).
- High-performing self-starter, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Managed teams via scrum and/or kaban agile methodology/processes.
- Experience with agile and application lifecycle management software tools, preferably VersionOne but other similar tools (e.g. Jira) are sufficient.
- Experience with writing requirements for analytics tracking, measuring what you’re building.
- Experience with ideating about optimization testing and working with our experts to define testing scenarios.
- Strong communication and partnership skills; able to collaborate through complex problems with a complementary team.
Experience : 8-10 Years’ Experience required
Education : At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required
