JOB DETAIL

Title: Cyber Security Solution Architect

Locations: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: Contract (Remote until COVID)

The Cyber Security Solution Architect will have the responsibility to understand customer security challenges, in particular regarding vulnerability management and application security, and recommend, implement, and manage tools, technologies and processes for reinforcing Cyber Security controls. Prospective candidate will be a strong technical leader in the security domain with an exceptional understanding and subject matter expertise in Cyber Security, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Managed Security Services, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Cloud.

This is a highly visible technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise role and the right candidate must have a customer-focused and team-oriented approach that balances security needs and business requirements to develop, implement, and operate cost-effective Cyber Security solutions on behalf of client.

Desired skill set includes

  • Architect-level experience in cyber security domains
  • Demonstrated ability in vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation
  • Hands on experience on application security, cloud, managed security services
  • Strong understanding of network, server, and database technologies
  • Hands on experience in defining and designing security controls
  • Strong ability with vulnerability management and application security tools including Qualys, etc.
  • Strong experience in PowerShell, Java, Perl or Python, PowerShell, C#, and/or ASP/ASP.NET
  • Ability to identify the key gaps in existing client security strategies/procedures and recommend solutions
  • Be the “go to” person by client technical leadership for cyber security challenges, in particular for vulnerability assessment and remediation
  • Work effectively with onsite, offshore and cross functional application and infrastructure teams
  • Strong project planning skills and working collaboratively within teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and leadership skills
  • Related professional experience including a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in a senior technical position and a bachelor’s degree

Good to have skills

  • Implementation experience on leading cyber security solutions in one or more domains
  • Big 4 companies experience is preferred
  • Key certifications like CISSP / CEH / CISA / CISM
  • Hands on experience in writing and delivering customer proposals
