Role: Jr.-Mid Oracle Financials System Analyst

Location: Addison, TX- must work onsite- no remote options

Duration: 3-4 months – no real chance for extension so please don’t say that it may extend

Interview: zoom video interview

 

  • 2-3+ years of in-depth experience working as functional/technical analyst and/or Administrator with Oracle R12 Financials and Payables.
  • Strong knowledge on Oracle R12 EBS Finance modules, must have excellent functional and technical skills in using Oracle EBS General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management modules (will be setting up and configuring these modules for 50 AP operating units)
  • Candidate SHOULD have a strong business acumen and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experienced in writing PL-SQL queries.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and related processes.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills.
  • Good analytical, excellent presentation and communication skills, proficiency in English language are required skills as this is a client facing role.
  • Must have excellent communication skills 

 

Client is looking for a Oracle Systems Analyst to serve as an important member of our direct client's Financial Systems team and as an expert regarding Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application.

The Oracle Systems Analyst should have in-depth functional and technical understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) applications in a multi-organization environment including implementation experience of Oracle R12 GL and Payables modules. A highly motivated individual who will work with IT team and Business Users on the technical and functional requirements definition, design, implementation, and maintenance of EBS applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle AP and GL modules to meet business requirements and design.
  • Provide in-depth Functional and Technical support of EBS applications (11i/R12) in a multi-organization environment including: General Ledger, Payables, Fixed Assets and other modules as required.
  • Knowledge of accounting transactions generated from Oracle Supply Chain applications (Payables) including usage of Subledger Accounting (SLA) with R12.
  • Ability to research and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner – escalating where necessary
  • Assist team members with: vendor master normalization, vendor qualification process, and Oracle supplier and supplier site creation.
  • Perform system testing activities for releases and upgrades.
  • Execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
  • Document system configurations and system application test protocols, in support of quality compliance validation.
  • Perform application and process-specific training activities to educate technical and non-technical users of the solutions you configure and support.
  • Assisting the internal stakeholders in testing the solutions provided, in order to drive this through to implementation.
