Job Description :

Video Conferencing:

  • Cisco Video Conf & Telepresence products suites
    • Cisco Telepresence System
    • VCS-C, VCS-E, TMS, MSE, Conductor, MCUs, CTMS, CTPS, Cisco Expressway, ISDN gateways
    • Cisco Codec-Series, DX, EX, MX, SX, CTS 500, 1100, 1310, 3010, 3210, IX 5000, 5200
  • Cisco Unified Communications
    • Communications Manager
  • SIP:
    • Sound understanding of SIP Trunks
    • Cisco CUBE
  • Teleconferencing:
  • Cisco WebEx

  • Polycom Video & Real Presence
    • Polycom Connect & TRIO
    • Polycom RMX (Real Presence Collaboration Server), PRRM, DMA, RP Mobile, RP Desktop.

Broadcasting:

  • Sound knowledge on manage, secure, distribute and measure the success of live and on demand video on QUMU Platform.
  • Sound hands on experience in configuring and managing VNE (Video Net Edge) Distribution engine devices.
  • Sound hands on experience on managing QUMU Platform encoders.
  • Need excellent troubleshooting skills on live Video and Streaming contents over the network.
  • Should have sound understanding of Broadcasting Infrastructure integration with CDN’s.
  • Should have sound understanding of Vevox and its integration with QUMU Platform.
  • Should have sound understanding of Tube’s (Like You Tube)
  • Manage conferencing related devices including QuMu, Akamai, Vevox, Bi-Amps, various microphones, DME’s, DMA’s, Streaming, Recording, Scheduling, Monitoring tools etc.
  • Manage Digital Signage and device and content management for the same.
  • At times, would be required to support of client meetings and events including functionality and use of audio visual and presentation technologies via Skype Broadcast
  • Overseeing the schedule of activities to ensure planning and support is provided as requested.

EXPERIENCE/PROFILE:

  • 7-8+ years of experience in Broadcast & Video Technologies, especially in QUMU Platform, Cisco & Polycom Video technologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in troubleshooting Live Video & Streaming issues.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on Cisco Collaboration products portfolio
  • Experience with Cisco/Tandberg, Polycom, Lifesize and other video conferencing systems
  • Experience of Cisco VCS-C, VCS-E, MSE, TMS, ISDN gateways, MCU, Conductor, and Expressways for video conferencing is must.
  • Working experience for Enterprise & Mid segment customer on Video platform
  • Working with the service provider will be an advantage
  • CCNP – Voice/Collaboration

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Provide a single point of contact for the reporting and tracking of Video & Broadcasting network Problems
  • Maintain current status on all open video conferencing issues.
  • Interact with the Service Desk staff in a professional, efficient, and service-oriented manner.
  • Have a clear understanding of Cisco & Polycom Video network deployment models
  • Have worked on Cisco Unified communication products like Cisco Call Manager, Voice Gateways & Gatekeepers.
  • Have clear understanding on VOIP protocols like SIP, SCCP, H.323 and MGCP
  • Should have sound hands on experience in troubleshooting Video protocols like HTTP, RTMP, UDP & TCP.
  • Have clear understanding on Telecom infrastructure protocols like ISDN, T1/E1/PRIs, CAS
  • Maintain and update voice/video network diagrams and vendor information for voice/video network devices
  • Have very good troubleshooting/deployment and analytical skills.
  • Can go for upgrade of devices on requirement & provide plan to customer.
  • Can do Value add on customer network.
  • Look for escalations and resolve it in given time frame.
  • Ability to perform problem analysis and develop resolutions at both strategic and tactical levels
  • ITIL Process follow and implementation for collaboration technologies
  • Knowledge in Cisco Collaboration technologies and its products suites.
