Cloud Storage Architect (Techno-Functional / SME)

Mandatory:
· 10 – 12 years of experience into product development, in storage and virtualization technologies, with experience in building native cloud platform.
· With min 3+ years’ experience with advanced storage technologies such as replication, high availability, archiving, backup & restore, encryption, and disaster recovery/business continuity
Good knowledge on cloud technologies, preferably Native Cloud and any public cloud providers such as IBM Cloud or AWS/Google/Azure.
· In-depth understanding of Kubernetes development which includes extending API server, defining CRDs, Operating etcd clusters, Kubernetes Operator/Controller, Watcher/Informer
· Should have experience in LXC or libvirt based virtualization tech
· Deep knowledge of storage protocols and standards, such as SAS, SATA, NVMe, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, QEMU.
· Expert shell scripting, and mature understanding of Linux concepts around processes, packages, distributions and Linux performance debugging, cgroups
Good to have:
· Around 6 years’ experience in product development with C/C++, python on multi-platform environment like Windows and different flavors of Linux/Unix.
· Exposure to operating systems, kernel mode programming, device drivers, and related technologies and architectures.
· At least 2 years of experience in Golang development
· Experience with mission critical, 24x7 SaaS software development and deployment.
· Experience with agile software development methodologies and understanding of enterprise engineering best practices like agile.
· Experience on automation, CI/CD, DevOps and testing frameworks.
· Well versed with Git merges, rebase, branching, forking and submodules
