Role: Node.Js Backend Developer- Senior Level

Location: Fully remote

Length: 6 months C2H or rolling

Skills:

• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ (For Walmart+ team)

• Familiarity with operating container services, Docker and Kubernetes (For WalmartPay team)

Responsibilities: Will be working on migrating Kubernetes in container systems. 75% new development, and 25% containing.

• Walmart+ is the “prime” competitor app so will be a lot of new feature development.

• WalmartPay: Based more on migrating to new orchestration platform.

Interview:

1. . HackerRank

• 3 questions, 60 min timed challenge (All information attached). Looking for people to solve with as few errors as possible, how readable it is and if they’re using modern structures.

2. Virtual Onsite (final interview)

• Starting with a 30 min phone screen (high level discussion about background and experience)

• 30 min break

• 3 hours: Speaking with 3 different Engineers (1 hour debugging, 1 hour ad-hoc coding portions, 45 mins high level architecture discussion)
