JOB DESCRIPTION
Must Have 8-9 Years Exp Req
- Candidate required to have a minimum of 5 years of Erwin Enterprise Data Modeler Suite
- Candidate required to have 5 years' experience in logical data modeling, relational and dimensional
- Candidate required to have Data stage and Data Vault experience
- Ability to work remote and with minimal oversite
- Must be experienced and show example work in datawarehouse modeling (fact/dimension)
- Must be experienced in incremental EDW definition (driven by business requirements)
- Must be experienced with Erwin data modeler, for warehouse modeling (bonus for being knowledgeable about Erwin web portal and DI product portals)
- Bonus for experience with Attunity/Qlik Compose for Datawarehouses (warehouse automation) or similar
- Bonus for experience with Snowflake
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conducts requirement session and design sessions with data architects and product owners
- Create conceptual, logical and physical models for data warehouse product
- Design and manages data models in data modeling product
- Design and develops data integration programs that load, transform and extract from the data warehouse using data stage technology
- Designs and manages data models in Erwin data modeling tool
- Develops third normal form and dimensional models that adhere to data warehouse best practices
- Designs time-variant models that support both point in time (Historical) and current state analysis
- Generates DDL from model for RDMS
- Ability to create source to target mappings
- Work with ETL developers to ensure they have an understanding
- Develop documentation that describes data architecture
