Job Description: -
Should be self-driven, innovative and research oriented, develops solutions tailored to addressing specific problems/ needs
Should be able to identify the client / market needs and propose impactful solutions
Should be aware of best practices specific to Insurance
Should have very good understanding of SDLC, data modelling and data management
Should be adept in agile execution methodologies
Should be a good team player and possess capability to lead a team of data modelers
Participates in pre-sales activities, business proposals, discussions with clients and anchors client visits as SME.
Provide insight to new and emerging best practices in the industry and provide innovative solutions to industries’ common data problems.
Participates in proof of concept executions, architecture discussions and validates complex technical solution when required

Responsibilities: -
Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
Evaluating existing data systems.
Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5-10 years of overall industry experience
Min. 3 years extensive exp. in Insurance specifically P&C
Min. 3 years hands-on experience with data modelling Big Data based analytics platforms
Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
MS Azure and Snowflake or other cloud platforms
