Senior Business analyst with more than 12 years hands on exp in Plant/Shop floor/End user processes (Corp & Plant - Operations) and familiar with investigating and troubleshooting the issues quickly. The person will help support the ERP systems by working directly with plant users in the following SAP functional areas:
- STOs
- Inventory Management
- Customer logistics / Shipping
- Sales & Distribution
- Production Execution
- Idoc management
- Building, “enforcing” and maintaining business processes
Detailed skill sets required:
- Must have experience in a BA role and knows the “tricks of the trade”
- Functional Liaison between Business partners and Solution Architects
- Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Understand the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems processes to parallel overall business strategies
- Understand system capabilities
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing enhancements based on business needs
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
- Clarify, update, and improve the business processes impacted by the technology changes that are part of your projects
- Participate in testing activities to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements and that new functionality and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality
- Monitor training needs, develops/updates content, delivers training as appropriate and assesses end user capabilities
- Understand and communicate the impact of any changes
- Identify the current- and future-state business processes.
- Provide input to aid in the design of business processes and preparation of functional specs for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
- Help the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
