Job Description:
- Responsible for solution and implementation of supply chain process using SAP APO. Assist business SME’s and client IT team on pulling together the requirements on planning process and solution improvements using SAP APO. This includes requirement gathering, building proof of concepts, conducting design workshops, preparing design and functional documentation, APO configuration, training the users etc.
- The consultant will independently work with business users on providing day to day support to the business in the APO space, this may also include co-ordinate/assist AMS team on any outstanding production issues and ensure smooth functioning of planning process and solution in the production environment.
- APO Implementation experience in SNP (Optimizer & Heuristic), CTM (Capable-To-Match), GATP (Rule based ATP, Characteristic based substitution & CTP), PPDS (Heuristic and Subcontracting), DP (stat forecasting) and CIF. In depth knowledge on the master data and functionalities related to integration of APO with ECC PP, SD & MM modules. Experience in Variant Configuration scenarios.
- The candidate will manage client relationships, will drive consensus on complex business solutions. Capable to analyze business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements, and will provide industry subject matter expertise in APO DP, SNP, PPDS & GATP.
- At least 3 full lifecycles implementation projects in SAP APO, with client facing role and responsibility to direct other team members.
- Total 10+ years of APO Experience preferred.
- Self-driven and able to independently lead the implementation of supply chain planning process and solution using SAP APO. Lead the team and co-ordinate with cross functional teams for successful delivery of the integrated solution.
- The candidate will have experience in business process expertise of APO DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP & CIF functionalities to design, build, test & deployment towards various client engagements. And demonstrated project management skills to develop detailed task plan towards timely completion of project milestones and demonstrated experience in a SAP package solution implementation tools and methodologies.
