Description:
- Looking for an experienced Android architect who can work independently on Android development and guide other Android developers.
- Drive the quality up and the risk down and be an expert at applying platform features and best practices, and sharing that knowledge to help the team grow.
- Experience in best coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing techniques and uphold peer to peer code reviews.
Required Skills:
- The ideal candidate would have 7+ years’ experience developing native Android mobile applications
- Around 10+ years of overall experience.
- Design and develop new native mobile applications, as required.
- Proficient in Android SDK components (Content Providers, Networking, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents, Fragments)
- Experience in implementing unit tests. Design, develop and implement cohesive, highly-usable features and improvements to our existing native Android applications.
- Experience with development of mobile network clients using HTTP protocol, REST APIs and firebase Cloud Messaging, push notifications, geo-locations.
- Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and firebase cloud messaging
