Role: Big data Operations engineer / BIGDATA ADMINISTRATOR

Roles and Responsibilities:

Big data Operations engineer/Bigdata Administrator, you will be

• Maintaining a scalable, distributed platform to support Data Scientists. As an administrator, responsibility will be to deploy and maintain Virtual clusters by creating Azure data lake accounts,  cluster management and monitoring support performance and scalability requirements, Geo-replication/mirroring the data, migrations of data from one region to another region in support of our Data scientists needs. Some Relational Database administrator experience will also be desirable to support general administration of Relational Databases.

SKILLS

• 3+ years of Bigdata/Hadoop Administration

• 2+ Experience in Azure Administration

• Powershell, C#, SQL is will be aplus

• Strong communication skills: should be able communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Candiadate should be supportive taking on calls in a rotation.
